1 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Siftify, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Siftify.

2 Description of Service

Siftify is a bookmark management app that uses AI to extract text and URLs from screenshots. You can save, organize, and search content you've captured from various sources.

3 Account Registration

To use Siftify, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address
• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your password secure

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Siftify to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements

5 Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the screenshots and content you upload to Siftify. We don't claim any ownership rights to your content.

License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your screenshots using AI to extract text and URLs
• Store your content to provide the Service
• Display your content back to you within the app

This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you upload. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use or that violates others' rights.

6 Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Terms

• Billed monthly or annually (as selected at purchase)
• Auto-renews unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings
• No refunds for partial billing periods

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes won't affect your current billing period.

7 Intellectual Property

Our Rights

Siftify, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback about Siftify, we may use it without obligation to you.

8 Third-Party Services

Siftify integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Anthropic, etc.) to provide functionality. Your use of these services through Siftify is also subject to their respective terms of service.

9 Disclaimers

"As Is" Service

Siftify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI extraction will be 100% accurate
• URLs found will always be correct or accessible

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
• We are not responsible for content you upload or third-party websites linked from your bookmarks

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you upload
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of others' rights

12 Account Termination

By You

You can delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. This permanently removes all your data.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Don't use the Service for an extended period (12+ months of inactivity)

We'll provide notice when possible, except in cases of serious violations.

13 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting updated Terms in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email for material changes

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14 Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, contact us at legal@siftify.ai. We'll try to resolve issues informally within 30 days.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15 General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Siftify.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a right doesn't waive that right.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.
